Meet the woman behind the brand!

Hi, I’m Angela.

Well, it’s been quite a long journey to get to Xander and Rose which has been a dream years in the making. Over 5 years ago I was working full time in the airline industry, craving some creativity in my every day and something different to shift work, I was about to give birth to my first child and didn’t want to miss out on life’s precious moments. As I had previously studied event planning, I thought the best decision was to start an event planning and furniture hire business. I did this for quite some time whilst returning part time to the airline industry and although I enjoyed creating beautiful events for people, I seemed to have missed out on my very own precious moments. It wasn’t until I had my second child and with even less time on my hands that I made the difficult decision to close down the event business to focus more on family.

I started finding it difficult to find personalised items for our second child as the name we chose is extremely unique that’s where the idea of Xander and Rose was born. I wanted to create beautiful unique pieces for all occasions and something worthy of lasting a lifetime that you didn’t have to wait weeks to arrive.

So fast forward to March 2020 and suddenly the world being hit with a global pandemic and the airline industry disappeared overnight. My husband and I made the difficult decision to take redundancy and focus on Xander and Rose. Even though it has taken longer than we would have liked or expected, here we are, finally ready to showcase items we are creating. We hope you love them as much as we have loved creating them!
